Every statutory filing date, what it covers, who it applies to, and how many
days you have left. Bookmark it — we keep it current, and it costs nothing.
These are the general Lebanese filing dates, not advice about your business.
Which of them binds you depends on your entity type, your headcount and whether you are
VAT-registered. A four-person SARL and a fifty-person SAL do not have the same calendar.
If you are not certain which apply to you, ask us —
that part is free too.
Countdowns are calculated in your browser, so this table is accurate the
day you read it, not the day it was written.
The rules behind the dates
How each deadlineis worked out.
VAT — quarterly
Due on the 20th of the month following each quarter. It falls before
most businesses have finished closing the quarter, which is what makes it the most
commonly missed date on this page.
Q1 (Jan–Mar) → 20 April
Q2 (Apr–Jun) → 20 July
Q3 (Jul–Sep) → 20 October
Q4 (Oct–Dec) → 20 January
Payroll tax — quarterly
Withholding on salaries, due the 15th of the month following the quarter.
Applies to every employer, whatever the headcount.
15 April · 15 July
15 October · 15 January
Corporate income tax — annual
The filing date depends on what kind of company you are, which catches out more
businesses than any other date on this page.
31 May — SAL, SARL, holding, offshore
28 February — partnerships and sole proprietorships
Stamp duty — monthly
An electronic declaration within 15 days of month end, for businesses
issuing invoices that carry stamp duty.
What we have not listed
Built property tax, capital gains, profit distribution tax and fees to non-residents all
have their own timing, and several depend on an event rather than a date — a distribution
resolution, a disposal, a payment abroad. Those are worth a conversation rather than a row
in a table.
Questions we get asked
The ones that come upevery quarter.
On the 20th of the month after the quarter ends — 20 April, 20 July, 20 October and 20 January. The declaration and the payment run together on that date. If a reminder in your accounting software or your diary says the end of the month, it is wrong in the direction that costs money, so move it.
File as soon as you can. Late filing and late payment penalties accrue over time, so the cost grows the longer it is left — waiting for the next cycle is the most expensive option available. Talk to us about whether any relief applies to your circumstances.
It depends on three things: your legal form, your headcount, and whether you are VAT-registered. A holding company with no employees has almost nothing on this list; a fifty-person SARL has nearly all of it. Send us your registration details and we will tell you which rows are yours — no charge and no obligation.
Yes. We maintain it because our own clients use it. When the Ministry of Finance moves a date, this page moves with it — and our clients see the change on their portal dashboard at the same time.

Our clients do not track these dates. We do it for them, and they hear from us
before anything is due — not after.
