Questions about this service

Can BMD maintain a website built by someone else?

We first review the platform, hosting arrangement, access ownership and the work you need. A support scope can then identify compatible updates, content tasks and checks. We confirm whether the existing setup can be supported before accepting responsibility for changes.

What should ongoing website care cover?

Agree which updates, pages, forms and user journeys are included, how requests are submitted and how changes are reviewed. Performance and usability improvements can be prioritised alongside maintenance. Response times, backup responsibilities and work outside the plan should be specified in your support agreement.

How quickly are website changes made?

Response times and the number of changes included each month are set in the agreed support scope. Urgent problems, such as a broken enquiry form or an expired security certificate, are prioritised over content updates and improvements.
